Important Grammar Note!
Direct object pronouns are used when you want to talk about something, without mentioning it in the sentence.
In English, the direct object pronoun generally means 'it' or 'them'.
E.g:
-
Je la veux
-
Nous le voulons
-
Je l'aime
-
Je les déteste
When using it in French, you have to know whether the noun that you're talking about is masculine/feminine singular, or masculine/ feminine plural, and then you put it before the verb.
'Le' is for masculine singular.
'La' is for feminine singular.
'Les' is for masculine and feminine plurals.
'L'' is used when the verb begins with a vowel.
